Appleが現地時間2022年7月18日、macOS Monterey 12.5 リリースキャンディデート（RC）2を、開発者および登録ユーザー向けに公開しました。
正式版は明日公開と噂
既に公開されているiOS15.6 RC2とiPadOS15.6 RC2に続き、macOS Monterey 12.5 RC2を、Appleが開発者および登録ユーザー向けに公開しました。
9to5MacはmacOS Monterey 12.5 RC2について、ビルド番号がRCの21G69から21G72に変更されていると述べています。
なお、macOS Monterey 12.5 RCとmacOS Monterey 12.5 RC2での変更点は不明です。
iOS15.6やmacOS Monterey 12.5の正式版は、現地時間7月19日に公開されるとCult of Macが予想していました。
