クオ氏の最新調査によると、GSEOのiPhone14向けカメラレンズにおいて、コーティングがひび割れる問題が発生しているとのことです。
AppleはiPhone14の出荷に影響が出るのを避けるため、約1,000万枚分のレンズの発注をGSEOからLargan Precisionへと切り替えたと、クオ氏は報告しています。

iPhone14への影響はほとんどない
なおレンズのコーティング割れの問題を解決するには1、2カ月を要すると考えられています。しかしGSEOが問題を解決できない場合でも、Largan PrecisionがGSEO分を十分補えるだけの生産能力を持っているので、同社への注文数が増えるだけで、iPhone14への影響はほとんどないと、クオ氏は述べています。

The impact on iPhone 14 shipments can almost be ignored because Largan can fill the supply gap well. The lens coating-crack problem should be addressed within 1-2 months based on experience.
