Appleが現地時間2022年8月23日、次期OSである、iOS/iPadOS16、watchOS9、tvOS16の開発者向けベータ7を公開しました。
開発者向けベータ6提供から8日後
Appleが、iOS/iPadOS16、watchOS9、tvOS16の開発者向けベータ7を公開しました。
それぞれのOSのビルド番号は、iOS16開発者向けベータ7が20A5356a、iPadOS16開発者向けベータ7が20B5027f、watchOS9開発者向けベータ7が20R5359a、tvOS16開発者向けベータ7が20J5371aです。
iPadOS16開発者向けベータ7を除き、ビルド番号の末尾が「a」となっているため、リリースキャンディデートの提供も近いとCult of Macが予想しています。
Appleは2022年9月7日にiPhone14シリーズ発表イベントを開催し、iOS16およびwatchOS9の提供開始日を明らかにするとみられています。
ただし、末尾が「f」のiPadOS16開発者向けベータ7や、ベータ5に留まっているmacOS Venturaの提供開始時期は、噂通り10月にずれ込む可能性が高そうです。
iClarifiedはiOS16開発者向けベータ7について、実際にインストールされるのはiOS16.1開発者向けベータ1になると述べています。iPadOS16の正式版は、iPadOS16.1として提供される見通しです。
これらのOSの登録ユーザー向けパブリックベータ5も、本日か明日にはリリースされると予想されます。

It's possible the seventh round of betas will have no new features and are simply bug fixes. But they have just been seeded to devs so there's been no time to determine what the differences are yet. 4/5
