iPhone12はLightning、iPhone13はSmart Connector
Fudge（@choco_bit）氏は、iPhoneへの展開を期待する声もあったUSB-C端子について、iPhone12で同端子を搭載するモデルはなく、もう1年間はLightning端子のままだと投稿しました。また、2021年に登場する可能性のあるiPhone13は、Smart Connectorを採用するとも伝えています。

USB-C端子搭載iPhoneのプロトタイプはあったのか
Fudge（@choco_bit）氏は、「USB-C端子を搭載したiPhoneはプロトタイプのみであり、こうした製品はアクティブノイズキャンセリング機能を搭載した、ProモデルではないAirPodsなども含めてあくまでもApple社内での検証用なので、実製品が登場することはない」とコメントしています。
Theres things tested internally that never make it out. Non-pro airpods with noise cancelling, Reduced notch iphone since xs days, gold iphone x, etc. Its basically a "should we?" type of prototype that gets made just to see how feasible it is (or before management changes mind)
