iPhone13（iPhone12Sとの噂もあり）とiPhone13 miniには、iPhone12 Proシリーズと同様にLiDARが搭載されると噂されていました。
しかし、最近のリーク情報などでは、両モデルにはLiDARは搭載されないとの予想が増えています。
Dylan氏（@dylandkt）はこれについて、「年初の時点ではiPhone13へのLiDAR搭載計画があったが、諸事情により断念された」と述べています。
LiDAR will only be coming to the pro iPhone models. Earlier this year it seemed Apple wanted to release all iPhone 13/12S models with LiDAR but due to one reason or another, it won’t be happening this year.

CADデータにもLiDARらしき痕跡なし
iPhone13 miniのものとするCADデータやモックアップでも、LiDARらしき造形が確認できませんでした。
